Western Integrated engineers, builds, installs, and commissions electrical systems, including machine control systems, PLC, HMI, safety, and networking solutions across industries such as Forestry, Mining, Manufacturing, and Materials Handling. We partner with clients to optimize production, improve efficiency, and maximize investment. 

 

Position Overview: 
We are seeking Level 1 to 4 Electrical Apprentices who are eager to expand their skills and gain hands-on experience in industrial electrical work. This role is ideal for those nearing the completion of their apprenticeship and looking for exposure to more advanced electrical systems and leadership opportunities.

What You’ll Be Doing: 

  • Performing installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in industrial environments 
  • Working with PLCs, HMIs, and automation controls under the guidance of experienced electricians 
  • Interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints 
  • Assisting with commissioning and testing of electrical systems 
  • Leading and mentoring junior apprentices as you progress 
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices 

 

What We Need from You: 

  • Registered Electrical Apprentice (Level 1 to 4) in BC 
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques 
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings 
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites 
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. 
  • Steel-toe boots, hard hat, and appropriate PPE 
  • Strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
