Western Integrated Electrical builds, installs, maintains, and commissions electrical systems throughout locations across the lower mainland. We complete a variety of electrical installations which can be located at YVR, hospitals, industrial facilities, commercial buildings and in many local municipal facilities. We partner with our clients across the lower mainland to solve their most pressing challenges including design build projects and custom solutions. Distribution and lighting upgrades. Conveyor and machine installations.

What you will be doing:

 This position is a key leadership role within the organization and is responsible for managing and growing the electrical division of the Company.

Operational Management:

  • Oversee daily operations of the electrical division, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Monitor quotations and project progress, address issues, and implement corrective actions.

 P&L Management:

  • Manage the division's budget, including forecasting, monitoring, and controlling costs.
  • Analyze financial reports and data to identify cost savings and revenue enhancement areas.
  • Ensure profitability by optimizing resource allocation and project management.

 Team Management & HR Activities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of electrical professionals.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement development plans for team members.
  • Handle HR-related activities.

 Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets to drive revenue growth.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand our presence in the market.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and contracts to potential customers.

 Customer Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring high satisfaction and retention levels.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for major clients, promptly addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and align our solutions with their business goals.

 Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Collaborate with the General Manager, Estimators, and Project Managers to align strategies and objectives.
  • Utilize CRM systems and Office 365 to effectively manage and report sales activities.
  • Set strategies to hit sales targets, monitor performance, and provide regular pipeline reports.

 Technical Expertise & Solution Development:

  • Provide technical knowledge of electrical construction and industrial systems to customers and the project management team.
  • Consult with project managers to develop solutions that meet customers' needs and requirements.

 Reporting & Documentation:

  • Provide regular updates and reports to the General Manager on operational performance and market conditions.

 What we will give you:

  • $130,000 - $180,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications

What we need from you:

  • Interprovincial Red Seal Electrical trade qualification.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of operations management experience, focusing on P&L responsibility.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
  • Proven experience in the industrial electrical sector, with a deep understanding of electrical design and installation.
  • Experience in team management and HR-related activities.
  • Proven experience in sales and business development.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Office 365, and other management tools.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to develop and present technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
  • Electrical Field Safety Representative (FSR) A or B certification is preferred.
