Electrical Apprentice

Western Integrated Electrical builds, installs, maintains, and commissions electrical systems throughout locations across the lower mainland. We complete a variety of electrical installations which can be located at YVR, hospitals, industrial facilities, commercial buildings and in many local municipal facilities. We partner with our clients across the lower mainland to solve their most pressing challenges including design build projects and custom solutions. Distribution and lighting upgrades. Conveyor and machine installations.

 

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Apprentices to join our team of professionals.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Reporting to and taking direction from site supervisor and electricians.
  • Maintaining precise documentation of work, filling out site reports, and work orders.
  • Onsite client-oriented service; polite and respectful with both clients and fellow employees.
  • Undertaking training provided by the company.
  • All work to be carried out to the current code standards with the highest regards for safety and ethics.

  • $22.00 - $36.00 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications

What we need from you:

  • Enrolled in electrical apprenticeship program, any level.
  • An understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to take direction and follow instructions provided.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid BC Driver’s License (abstract may be required)
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Good organization and communication skills
